Can you believe that it is already February? We have been very busy with different projects and activities!
Last week, the students took their first fractions test! We will continue working on fractions by comparing, ordering, and finding equivalent fractions.
In reading, the students have enjoyed a two-week biography project. They have created timelines, completed book reports, and are using a Venn diagram to compare and contrast two different people. We also read a story about life in the North and South Poles.
We finally completed the ABC's of Alabama booklets and have started working on a "Rocks and Minerals" unit.
Don't forget that we won't have school on Monday. Enjoy Presidents' Day off!
