March is well on its way! We only have 7 school days before it's time for spring break! Here are some helpful upcoming dates:
- March 14 Report cards go home
- March 18 K-2 Fine Arts Night at 6-7:30
- March 19 3-5 Fine Arts Night at 6-7:30
- March 18-March 22 Add-A-Book in the library
- March 25-29 Spring Break/No School
- April 8 and 9 Scantron State Testing for 3rd grade students
- April 19 Inclement Weather Day/No School
Since I lasted updated, we have participated in several fun activities, such as:
- Author Day with Deborah Hopkinson
- Read Across Edgewood week
- Crayfish expository writing
- Homewood opinion writing
- Finishing fractions (very thankful for that!)
- Beginning area, perimeter, and geometry
- Fun St. Patrick's Day research
- Symbols of the United States research and art activities
