We have had a wonderful first week in third grade! The students have already impressed me with their eagerness to learn and ability to catch on quickly to our classroom routines.
This week, we have already started some fun activities:
- Several get-to-know you activities
- All About Me morning work
- Fiction and Nonfiction genre study
- 40 Book Challenge introduction
- Rounding to the nearest tens and hundreds
- Started Maps and Globes unit
- Library visit and DEAR time
- Lunch in our brand-new lunchroom
- Third grade Friday Reward activity
- Flashlight Friday
