I am so thankful for this amazing group of students. Every specials teacher has commented on what a wonderful group of kids they are! Parents, thank you for raising such special children. Kids, thank you for always trying your hardest!
Since I last updated, we have worked on a lot! Here are some of the highlights:
- Summer Reading Celebration
- Beginning AMSTI forces and motions science kit
- Finishing Maps and Globes unit
- Taking first math test on addition, subtraction, and rounding
- Taking first spelling and reading tests
- Testing student-created vehicles
- Continued working on 40 Book Challenge (They are doing a great job with this!)
- Began a multiplication unit!
- Read two fun stories and annotated them to deepen understanding
- Began literature circles where each group has a different book
